Isotype exhibition in Vienna

Christopher Burke, Eric Kindel, and Sue Walker have contributed chapters to Wissen für Alle: Isotype - die Bildsprache aus Wien (Hirmer, 2025), a major publication that accompanied an exhibition of the same name at the Wien Museum, Vienna (6 November 2025 - 5 April 2026). Benjamin Benus and Robin Kinross, co-authors in Isotype: design and contexts, 1925-1971, also contributed chapters. The Otto and Marie Neurath Isotype Collection supplied images for a substantial portion of the works reproduced in Wissen für Alle.

Otto Neurath in Britain

Christopher Burke and Adam Tamas Tuboly have co-authored Otto Neurath in Britain, published by Cambridge University Press. The book, 'based on new archival research, [...] explores a little-known period of Neurath's rich and fascinating life, weaving together biographical, historical, and philosophical strands that reflect the cross-cultural currents of twentieth-century intellectual history through the lens of Neurath's contribution'.

Co-publication of Isotype books for children

Sue Walker has facilitated the co-publication of three Isotype books for children. The books, newly translated into Italian, have been published in collaboration with Quinto Quarto Edizione and include Piccolissimo anzi invisibile (Too small to see), Ecco come funziona! (This is how it works), and E se potessi guardare dentro? (If you could see inside).

The books were launched at the 2026 Bologna Book Fair. Accompanying the launch was the exhibition, 'Designing knowledge: Marie Neurath's Isotype books for children', shown at the recreated Pavillon de l'Esprit Nouveau in Bologna.
