Wittgenstein proceedings

September 2011

The second volume of 'Proceedings of the 33rd International Ludwig Wittgenstein Symposium', held in Kirchberg am Wechsel, Austria, in August 2010, is now available. The symposium took as its theme 'Image and imaging in philosophy, science and the arts', and during the symposium a smaller workshop, 'Picturing social facts: on Neurath's visual language', was also convened. The first half of this second volume contains papers delivered to the workshop, including by Friedrich Stadler, Elisabeth Nemeth, Sybilla Nikolow, Sophie Hochhäusl, Hadwig Kraeutler, Karl H. Müller & Armin Reautschnig, Bart Lootsma, and by project team members Christopher Burke and Eric Kindel. The remainder of the volume includes a series of papers on the theory and history of diagrams.

The volume, edited Richard Heinrich, Elisabeth Nemeth, Wolfram Pichler and David Wagner, can be previewed and purchased here.
